ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OR NOTHING
Lately this idea is one that I’ve been applying into my life.
Often times with goals and ideas I usually just stick to the middle, but there are certain goals or ideas in which you have to go all in. Usually we know if this is something that we have to go all in on or not.
Addictions are a great example whether it be to porn, food, or drugs.
We know that we are addicted, and that it is having a negative impact on our social lives along with our health. This is something in which you can’t just stand in the middle.
You can’t just stand there and say ”Oh I have nothing against alcohol I don’t think that it should be illegal or that it’s necessarily bad” while at the same time being addicted to alcohol.
It’s ok if you keep your stance on not making alcohol illegal, but if it is having a negative impact on your life and you will know if it is or not then you have to go 100% in order to quit it.
We Know When We Need To Go 100%
The thing about it is that we know when to go 100%. Just like the alcohol example above we know when we have to quit.
This can apply to anything whether it be business, relationships, or fitness we know when we need to fully commit to an idea and put in the work to get towards a goal.
There are no excuses it doesn’t matter how old you are, or what type of problems you think you have.
What 100% Looks Like
When it comes to going 100% often times we will fall down, and it’s very important to get back up as soon as possible and keep going.
If you don’t do this then a year of your life will pass and you will still be addicted you will still be in the same spot, then 5 years will pass, then 20, then 30, then you are on your death-bed wishing that you would have done it a long time ago.
Wishing that you had spent more time with your family, wishing that you would not have let porn, alcohol, or whatever ruin your marriage.
Also you have to start now with no excuses.
You may fail hell you might just fail 100 fucking times, but if you keep getting back up that’s all that matters.
It might take a few years, or it might only take a couple of months.
There are ideas and certain concepts that are worth learning for where you are at in life right now.
We know what we need to do in order to be happy, and to move on with our lives.
Don’t just open a door that you need to go through and just stand there for a few years go through it and never look back. You might trip and fall, but you get back up and keep going.
If your health is bad and you know you need to fix that shit you make the effort you cut certain foods out of your diet, you start to exercise, you start counting calories you make that shit happen.
It’s also very important to have no excuses, or to not let them hold you back.
If you don’t then you’ll just be standing in the doorway going nowhere.
